Registration Marks

This British example has all the hallmarks of a classic 1900's charm. There are the cabeson stone pf turquise, white and red. , and wonderful enamelling. But there more. One the back it is completely loaded with marks. First there is the marker's mark of BRS. Then there are Birmingham hallmarks showing the letter "f" representing 1905. Finally for good measure there is the Registration Mark of 432750. This number is not the same as a patent number. It's more like a design patent number. One is registration. You can easily get a date of issue in this case its around 1904.
