Casa de Schwartz

Melchior Volz is the original Volz immigrate from Baden, Germany in 1851. He first settled in Indiana where he met Josephine Renner. The two settled in La Crosse, WI where they raised a large family. He was a carpenter, a skill that many of his children chose. Of the children that lived to adulthood:

Bernard H Volz married and remained in Wisconsin
Mary Volz married and settled in Minnepolis, MN. No living descendents have been identified yet.
John A Volz married Katherine Lehnen and settled in Anaheim, CA. There are some photos here.
